2018 Mid-Shore Woman of Distinction, Julie McMahan Thomas
Julie McMahan Thomas has been the Director of Marketing and Customer Service of Tri Gas & Oil since 2006 and is a member of the third generation running the family-owned business. She received her bachelor’s degree from Towson University in 1997 and worked in mental health prior to joining Tri Gas in a full-time capacity.
Committed to the community, she currently serves on the Board of Directors, and Capital Campaign Committee, and Gala Committee for Compass Regional Hospice. She serves as the Vice President of the PSA for her daughter’s school, Saints Peter & Paul. A 2009 graduate of Shore Leadership, Julie has served on the Board of Directors for Susan G. Komen of Maryland and the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce for 6 years. She continues her involvement with Susan G. Komen of Maryland by working to raise awareness and funds for the cause throughout the year. She has also served on the Claws for a Cause committee, benefitting the University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown.
Julie resides in Easton, MD with her husband and three daughters.
